It really is challenging weather outside at the moment with some areas being affected more than others. If you read our blog in November asking if you were ready for winter then you are laughing, if not act now!

It’s no good checking your radiators if the heat is flying out your windows!

It has been said that a common “man trait” is to visit each room in the house checking the radiators are warm!! Simon Rimmer mentioned on Saturday kitchen that his father did it and now he does! May I point out that the radiators could be on fire, and if you have poorly fitting windows and doors, your home still wouldn’t feel warm!
Some people shy away from replacing ill fitting windows and doors, I can only imagine for fear of the cost and the upheaval!! As a replacement window company we know this is not the case!

As part of an extension and refurbishment project at a detached property in Macclesfield, Cheshire, Bayfield Bespoke supplied and fitted a portfolio of products.
The clients had chosen to add a new sunroom to the rear of their property; they selected an aluminium glazed roof, windows and French doors. The frames were finished in iron grey (RAL 7011) to complement the contemporary white, red and grey interior.

With the arrival of the Christmas stock in the shops some people put any improvement and renovation plans they may have on hold until after the festivities! The reality is that we are only at the beginning of October! There is plenty of time to address any projects you have.
With the arrival of the colder weather ill fitting windows and doors become more apparent, these will only become worse if left due to the damp weather.
